The boxes are the backbone of your cabinetry. HERSEY boxes are built with 3/4" furniture-grade plywood with 1/2" backs - NO particle board. Our boxes are built to stay tight, stay square and stay around for generations. We use dadoes and splines to attach 7/8" thick solid wood fronts to the rock solid boxes. No nails.

We have a way with wood, and work with a wide variety of species to compliment your style. Our shelving is 3/4" solid ash. Our drawer boxes are constructed of 5/8" thick ash and are dovetailed for strength and beauty. The drawer fronts are 1" thick solid wood. Why pay extra for options?
